Hikers from USA, Canada, Australia, Germany, Spain, France, Belgium and Denmark took part in the program and a total of 7 people completed the full 3-week cultural hike of 330 km: 4 Americans and 3 Canadians. In this context we would like to congratulate Canada-pioneer full-program walkers Jules Bois and Albert & Marlene Friesen.
We are continually aiming to strengthen and protect national tourism and historic heritage in Palestine and every hike contributes positively to the local villages we pass through. We truly appreciate their engagement throughout the hike and are happy that we yet again- and with their help, were able to fulfil our ambition.
We hope to be able to continue providing this historic adventure and we welcome anyone who’s interested in walking with us. By walking the trail you will witness something new everyday: The rocky geology changing to beautiful meadow of flowers; ancient aqueducts, shepherds moving their livestock or try waking up early to be soaking in the beauty of the Dead Sea sunrise. All this while passing through historical sights walking on the same routes that people have been using for thousands of years.
Join us for a day or two, a week, or walk the full trail of 330 kilometers. Everyday is with experienced local guides who know every corner of the hike you’ll be doing. This November we invite people to get their own perspective of Palestine again, and we can’t wait for the adventure to begin!
Visit our website http://www.walkpalestine.com/en for booking and more information. We’ll be more than pleased to welcome you to Palestine!
