Program
1. Friday April 20th 2007:After the Conference
Transfer from Bilin to Bethlehem. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem.
2. Saturday April 21st 2007: Jerusalem
In the morning, we will meet with ICAHD and tour around Jerusalem to observe Israeli Illegal Settlements and the segment of the wall known by "Jerusalem Envelope". After lunch, meet with women organizations in the Jerusalem area. In the evening, meet with the Israeli refuseniks. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem.
3. Sunday April 22nd 2007: Bethlehem
After a walking tour in the old city of Bethlehem, visit the Church of Nativity and hear about the siege of the church. Meet with the Palestinian Center for Rapprochement in between people, www.pcr.ps, www.imemc.org. After lunch ride around the city and observe the shocking impact of the various Israeli Instalments. Visit Aida refugee camp and meet with Lajea centre. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem.
4. Monday April 23rd 2007: Agricultural tour
Visit the villages west of Bethlehem Battir and Al-Khader, Nahalin and Wadi Fukin, see for yourself how the Israel's is endangering the existence of the Palestinian rural culture. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem.
5. Tuesday April 24th 2007: Nablus
Visit and meet with students at An-Najah University. Tour and visit Balata camp and Jacob's Well meet with Jaffa cultural center. Tour the Old City Bazaars, Turkish Bath then Dinner and overnight in Nablus.
6. Wednesday April 25th 2007: Tulkarem & Qalqilieh
Drive to Tulkarem & Qalqilieh. Meet popular committees and activists. Listen to their shocking stories about land and water sources theft and the illegal chemical waist and intoxicant dumping near their homes. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem.
7. Thursday April 26th 2007: Hebron
Visit the Old city of Hebron, meet with the Temporary International Presence in Hebron, TIPH and with the Christian Peace Maker's Teams CPT. Visit the Old city Rehabilitation program. In the way back visit Ephrat Settlement and meet with settlers. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem.
8. Friday April 27th 2007: Departure
Evaluation and Departure.
